Next season better not freaking be 2009-2010 all over again. I don’t think my soul could take it.

I think we will be fine. We have a ton of great bench talent. Also, our recruit is great.

We do have four four-star recruits committed to us for next season. Oh, and I’m just going to preempt all of you now: McAdoo is gone, too. Just start accepting it now.

Be prepared to hear NOTHING about these players next year.  Tyler Hansbrough…who? Oh that guy on the news last night that was playing against one of his old rivals in a weird nose mask?  

Marshall only developed into a well rounded player the last third of the season, Henson is not strong enough to play with the big boys…try blocking one of Griffin or Wade’s shots…and don’t even get me started on the over-hyped Barnes.  

Do I love all of these guys? Absolutely. Do I think they are ready for the NBA? Absolutely not. 

But hey, get that money.

Carolina-Duke is not only the best rivalry in college basketball, it is the best rivalry in American sports. I have said this many times, and I can back it up with the fact one of these two teams has appeared in all but eight of the Final Fours during the expanded bracket era. That’s 19 out of 27 years. It’s almost obscene.

No other American sports rivalry can approach that degree of accomplishment. None contains both that excellence and the proximity of Carolina-Duke.
